Cool electronic pop from Melbourne duo GL. Vocal melodies that fizz on the tongue and bass that kicks you in the gut. Love the pop minimal sound, it's like taking a dip into a cool pool on a screaming hot day.

Stream: Dots - Funktionslust
Icy stripped back pop from London duo Funktionslust on new track Dots. Love this. Check out Dots below, or their previous song Seats here.
Stream: My Fault - Noir & HRRSN
My Fault is the follow-up to Noir's previous single Angel and a preview of what to expect on the forthcoming debut album, due early next year. It's a storming bluesy house record, with Berlin singer HRRSN's soulful vocals focusing on the sense of guilt and personal responsibility that can come from a failed relationship. Danish producer Noir's career has spanned more than ten-years and the forthcoming album attempts to distill that experience into a set of songs that will range from electronics to techno with a focus on deep songs such as this one.
If this track is anything to go by the album should be well worth the wait. This sort of measured vocal house gets me every time - it's emotive and classy yet still holds it's own on a dancefloor. Check it out:
Stream: Struggling - DRDR
Strong garage influenced electronic music from Brighton's DRDR, who are producers Chris Campbell and Joe Woods, plus female vocalist Donna Cursons. Stated influencers include Jamie XX and SBTRKT, and you can sense both coming through on this track.
Look out for the full EP, out on Glyph Recordings on 29 September.
Shelter Point
Download: Cut Me Loose / Serenity - Shelter Point
There is a beautiful subtlety to the music of Nottingham-based duo Shelter Point. The production on both of these tracks does a terrific job of just about adding enough colour and detail to Liam Arnold's vocals. Cut Me Loose is the newer of the two, a little more upbeat whilst still laced with melancholy, Serenity is more of a full-on modern ballad. Check them both out below where you can stream or download from Soundcloud.
