Do you want fries with that?

On the eve of a Blackplastic review of the new Mystery Jets album, produced by Erol Alkan, let's pause for a thought about Erol's
greatest work yet: his Glam Racket remix of Franz Ferdinand's 'Do You Want To'.

In one fell swoop Erol managed to decimate a band's career by contorting one of their own creations into something far better than anything they will birth. It impatiently screams at the listener: "I
don't care if you face is falling off and you are bleeding, I don't care if you insides just turned to mush and your brain is keeping out of your ear. Someone ordered some fucking acid and I'm here now. So, do you want fries with that or what?!?!"
