Stream: Satellite - Sara Hartman

Satellite is the new track from up and coming artist Sara Hartman, who has already had her first two releases (Monster Take Me Home and Two Feet Off The Ground) featured on BlackPlastic.co.uk.

The track is an inscessantly catchy record, feeling like Hartman's biggest shot at a hit yet. Hartman describes Satellite as "a call to arms disguised as a love song". A track that became something of an anthem for the artist, she describes the effect it has had on both her and her forthcoming debut EP, "It made me feel strong in being honest and vulnerable which set a tone for the rest of the record."

Stream: Monster Lead Me Home - Sara Hartman

Slipping into the closing weeks of 2015 is this debut track from 19-year-old musician Sara Hartman, who combines folk-tinged pop melodies with slightly operatic vocal harmonies.

Born in Sag Harbor is Suffolk County in the US, Hartman now resides in Berlin. Her new home town is the birthplace for Monster Lead Me Home. On the track she explains: "It’s a snapshot of my mind when I first got to Berlin ... It was really exciting but very frightening at the same time.  I put everything into the music I make and trust it’ll take me where I’m supposed to be, i.e. Monster Lead Me Home.
