Stream: For You (Ghost Beach Remix) - Fickle Friends

Another nice remix of Fickle Friends... NY duo Ghost Beach have delivered an upbeat take on recent single For You, which raises things up a notch but manages to retain the pulse quickening feel of the original. The mix came about after the two groups met at a festival in the summer, with Fickle Friends ending up joining Ghost Beach's new label Crazy Heart Records.

Having just released the nicely understated video for I Don't Need Another Lover last week, Billie Black has now put her entire debut EP, 000 100, up to stream on Soundcloud. Both I Don't Need Another Lover and I Waited For You have been on Billie's soundcloud for a while, but there are two new tracks to check out - Do You Really and Black & White.

Forgive lurches out of the dark like the opening credits to the movie Drive, all well-oiled synths and strong dark lines. And yet vocalist Lauren Pardini's vocals unfurl with artfully exposed vulnerability to create a heart-stopping electronic ballad. The confessional lyrics are hard to resist... "And I wonder if you think of me? Did you already find the girl you need?"

Steam: I Couldn't Want You Anyway (Son Lux Remix) - Jack Garratt

Following on from Jack Garratt's Remnants EP earlier this year he has a new version of the EP to come with a set of remixes included, to be entitled Remnix. The Son Lux mix of I Couldn't Want You Anyway can be streamed above and is a lovely emotional minimal electronic soul track. Give it a spin and then listen to the original below.
